Zinc bisglycinate is a form where zinc is bound to the amino acid glycine. Your body absorbs this type of binding more easily, using a separate channel in the intestine. This way the zinc reaches the right place more quickly and effectively. It is also gentle on the stomach and can easily be taken with a meal.

RDA stands for Recommended Daily Allowance and is the amount needed to prevent deficiency. For zinc that is 9 mg for men and 7 mg for women. The safe upper limit in Europe is set at 25 mg per day.
