Clearly Mushroom Coffee is real coffee with five mushroom extracts, maca, rhodiola and L-theanine: one scoop, hot water, done. About 45 mg of caffeine per cup, 30 servings per pouch.
One serving is 5.7 g: 2 g of freeze-dried Colombian arabica, 1 g of maca extract (5:1), 500 mg each of Lion’s Mane, cordyceps, chaga, reishi and maitake extract, 100 mg of rhodiola extract and 100 mg of L-theanine. That is 14 kcal, no sugar and about 45 mg of caffeine; a regular cup of filter coffee has about 80 mg.

The coffee is a single-origin arabica from a Colombian cooperative. Freeze-drying removes the water without heat, so the aroma stays in; standard instant coffee is spray-dried hot. The result tastes like coffee should: full and smooth, without a burnt edge.
Add one tablespoon to 250 ml of hot water and stir. Black, or with (plant-based) milk. The powder has no binders, so stir once more while drinking to keep everything mixed.
Nine ingredients: freeze-dried Colombian arabica, maca from Peru, five mushroom extracts, rhodiola and L-theanine, 5.7 g per scoop. Nothing else: no sugar, no fillers, no artificial additives. Vegan. Every batch is lab-tested in Europe. Formulated and produced in the Netherlands.
Scoop one tablespoon (5.7 g) into a cup, add 250 ml of hot water and stir well. Drink it black or add (plant-based) milk. Up to 2 to 3 cups a day. The powder is pure, without binders, so some of it can settle; a quick stir while drinking keeps everything mixed. One pouch holds 30 servings.

Chaga is a dark mushroom that primarily grows on birch trees in cold regions such as Siberia, Canada, and Scandinavia where it draws nutrients from the tree.
Reishi is a woody mushroom that has been used in traditional Asian cultures for centuries. It grows on hardwood in forested areas and is recognisable by its reddish-brown, glossy surface.
Maitake is a fan-shaped mushroom that grows wild at the base of trees, particularly in mountainous forests in Japan, China, and North America.
Rhodiola rosea is a plant that naturally grows in cold, mountainous regions of Europe and Asia. It grows mainly on rocky slopes where it adapts to the extreme conditions.
L-theanine is an amino acid that naturally occurs almost exclusively in the leaves of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis). It is one of the compounds that give tea its soft umami flavour.

Mein erster Eindruck vom Geschmack war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Deshalb habe ich ein bisschen damit experimentiert – mal mit Honig, mal mit Kuhmilch oder Hafermilch, sogar mit Kakao. Aber trotz allem überwiegt die positive Wirkung: Ich fühle mich wach und aktiv, aber auf eine angenehme, sanfte Weise. Nicht wie nach Kaffee, wo ich mich zwar auch wach, aber eher wie unter Strom fühle.
